The 48th Annual Original Marathon Seafood Festival will celebrate all of the incredible local seafood that is available in the Florida Keys. As you feast on the fresh fish, you can enjoy live music, games, and kids’ activities including a rock climbing wall, bungi jumping, obstacle courses, jenga, face painting, and other great activities (fun for the entire family).

BLENDING BOUNTY FROM THE SEA WITH FAMILY FUN

Admission is $5 per adult and free for children under age 12 when accompanied by a paying adult. Admission Sunday is free for retired and active military members with identification.

Proceeds benefit local continuing-education programs and scholarships presented by the Marathon chapter of the Organized Fishermen of Florida and the Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce.More information is at marathonseafoodfestival.com.

Though the festival involves an enormous amount of effort each year from volunteers, sponsors, vendors and musicians, our Original event’s popularity each and every year is derived from a simple, timeless recipe: cold drinks, phenomenal tunes, plenty of fun for the kids, vendors galore and, of course, fresh seafood from the Marathon fishing community. 

As always, visitors should eat, drink and be merry guilt-free – it’s all for a good cause, as proceeds from the festival go to fund education programs and scholarships given to MHS seniors by the Marathon Chamber of Commerce and Organized Fishermen of Florida.
